How do I know if I am living in a home that has earned the Indoor airPLUS label?

Indoor airPLUSIf your home was built between 2005 and 2008, check your circuit breaker box for an ENERGY STAR label that also says "Indoor Air Package", or ask your builder if they participated in the EPA pilot program. For homes built after 2008 you can look for the "Indoor airPLUS" label, which should be placed next to the ENERGY STAR label. You may also have received an Indoor airPLUS certificate, and you can ask your builder whether your home was built to the Indoor airPLUS construction specifications. Homes built before 2005 are not eligible to earn the Indoor airPLUS label as the pilot program was not created until September 2005.
